Job Summary
Implement high-quality physical therapy services for NCAA Division II athletes and outpatient orthopedic patients under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients while adhering to State Practice Act mandates and Select Medical policies. Provide care for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, ensuring alignment with the university's athletic training room and clinic environment.
Required Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Outpatient orthopedic clinical rotation if a current student
- Outpatient orthopedic experience in the last 3 years if practicing clinician
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
