Job Summary
On-field Official for i9 Sports leagues, enforcing league rules while fostering a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. Responsibilities include understanding and enforcing rules, teaching core concepts like sportsmanship, keeping time and score, managing age-appropriate instruction and competition, and delivering superior customer service with a positive attitude to players, coaches, and spectators during weekend/evening games for youth programs. Requires sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience and the ability to work a varied schedule across approximately 7 weeks of the season. Franchise location responsibilities are determined locally.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
