Job Summary
Arrive prior to scheduled games and stay late as needed to set up and canvas playing surfaces. Enforce YMCA rules impartially while ensuring the YMCA Pledge is said before each game. Address questions from coaches and participants, report incidents to supervisors, and execute approved emergency action plans. Maintain the safest environment by organizing equipment and helping players learn the game. Work weeknights and/or Saturdays, maintaining current CPR/AED, First Aid, and annual compliance training.
Required Qualifications
- Must stay current in CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid, renewed annually
- Must complete officials training
- Must complete all required Annual Compliance Trainings within 30 days of hire and renewed annually
- Have a working knowledge of the sport
- Have an understanding of the Y mission in sports
- Have an understanding of how the Y mission is carried out using the Y's Core Values
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must be available to work on weeknights and/or Saturday
