Job Summary
Sports MMJ anchor to cover college and high school sports in North Mississippi. Deliver sportscasts and sports stories live in the studio and in the field, across multiple platforms. Work in a fast-paced newsroom environment to tell great local sports stories that go beyond ESPN, with emphasis on SEC Country coverage. Role requires producing and presenting compelling sports content, collaborating with teammates, and adhering to professional journalism standards.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.

- Strong on-air presence and storytelling skills
- Experience in sports journalism or MMJ/anchor roles
- Ability to report live from studio and field
- Proficiency across multiple platforms (TV, digital, social)
- Knowledge of SEC sports

- Attention to accuracy and ethics in journalism
