Job Summary
Assist in providing clinical case coverage in the operating room, securing inventory, and consulting the surgical team on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants. Collaborate with Sales Reps, orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff, and administrators to develop an effective territory business plan and generate revenue. Become a technical expert in Sports Medicine surgical procedures through structured training while building rapport with key stakeholders. Work untraditional hours to support the salesforce and customers, completing credentialing requirements for facility entry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum (2) two years sales experience in medical device industry
- Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level
- Ability to assimilate and learn a high level of technical information as it relates to surgery and procedures
- Team-oriented

- Must be able to collaborate and partner with all Smith+Nephew Reconstruction and Sports Medicine counterparts in the region to discover sales opportunities
- Must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of healthcare facilities they support
- Must be able to adhere to any established vaccine protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products
