Job Summary
Assist in the promotion, coverage, and documentation of Cornerstone University's athletic programs as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant; duties include creating athletic communications, updating website content (rosters, schedules, statistics, historical records), providing live game coverage with statistics software and live streaming, managing and growing the department's social media presence, coordinating media relations (credentialing and game-day operations), compiling statistics for conference and national governing bodies, designing graphics and multimedia content for digital/print use, assisting with game programs and publications, and supporting photography/video efforts for games and events while pursuing graduate studies; must align with the university's Christian mission and commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Acceptance into a Cornerstone University graduate program
- Bachelor�s degree in sports management, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation
- Familiarity with programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and athletic statistical software is a plus
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and travel as required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
