Job Summary
Seasonal Sports Camp Counselor for Notre Dame High School's Summer Sports Camp. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging K-8 campers, leading age-appropriate sports activities (e.g., basketball, soccer, flag football, volleyball, kickball), teaching fundamentals and sportsmanship, enforcing safety rules, and communicating with parents. Requires background check and safe-environment training; must be at least 18 with a high school diploma. Camp runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., June 15–July 2 (no camp June 19), at the Main Campus in Sherman Oaks, CA. Ideal candidates are energetic, patient, and dependable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma
- Ability to pass background check
- Completion of any required safe-environment training
- Experience working with children in camps/coaching/youth programs
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 30 pounds
