Job Summary
Support daily operations at sports league sites as a part-time Sports Assistant; assist with on-site supervision of league games and practices, operate scoreboards and update game scores, enforce league rules and city ordinances, assist referees and officials, respond to participant inquiries and resolve minor complaints, complete incident reports, maintain facility cleanliness and safety, and serve as a point of contact for participants and spectators. Requires punctuality, uniform compliance, and the ability to work evenings/weekends; CPR/First Aid trained upon hire; knowledge of recreational sports rules; strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of CPR and First Aid training (required upon hire)
- Knowledge of recreational sports rules and officiating standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
