Job Summary
Actively supervise swimming pools and ancillary areas to ensure guest safety, responding promptly to incidents per emergency action plans. Provide first aid and emergency response as required while carrying out routine water quality and chemical testing with corrective action. Maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards across leisure facilities, delivering professional customer service as a park ambassador. Complete ongoing training in health and safety, lifesaving skills, customer care, and pool plant operations. Valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification or willingness to gain it is required, with flexibility for varied shifts including weekends and bank holidays. Background checks including DBS will be carried out if appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- A valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification
- A customer‐focused approach with a strong commitment to guest safety and experience
- Confidence working in a fast‐paced environment with responsibility for guest welfare
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays
- A positive, calm, and proactive attitude
- Background checks including DBS (or equivalent)
Desired Qualifications
- Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor qualification
- Pool Plant Operations qualification
- First Aid at Work qualification
- You're a strong swimmer willing to gain the NPLQ Lifeguard qualification through training
