Job Summary
Actively supervise swimming pools and ancillary areas to ensure guest safety, responding promptly to incidents and following emergency action plans. Provide first aid and emergency response as required, while carrying out routine water quality and chemical testing with corrective action where needed. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across leisure facilities, delivering professional customer service and acting as a positive ambassador for the park. Undertake ongoing training in health and safety, lifesaving skills, and pool plant operations. This seasonal role requires flexibility for varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays, with a minimum hourly rate of £12.71.
Required Qualifications
- A valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification
- A customer‐focused approach with a strong commitment to guest safety and experience
- Confidence working in a fast‐paced environment with responsibility for guest welfare
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays
- A positive, calm, and proactive attitude
- Background checks including DBS (or equivalent)
Desired Qualifications
- Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor qualification
- Pool Plant Operations qualification
- First Aid at Work qualification
- Strong swimmer willing to gain NPLQ Lifeguard qualification through training
