Job Summary
Actively supervise swimming pools and ancillary areas to ensure guest safety, responding promptly to incidents and executing emergency action plans. Provide first aid and emergency response as required, while carrying out routine water quality and chemical testing with corrective action. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across leisure facilities, delivering professional customer service as a park ambassador. Undertake ongoing training in health and safety, lifesaving skills, and pool plant operations. This seasonal role requires flexibility for varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
Required Qualifications
- A valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification - or you're a strong swimmer willing to gain it through training
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays
- A customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to guest safety and experience
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with responsibility for guest welfare
- A positive, calm, and proactive attitude
- Background checks including DBS (or equivalent) will be carried out if appropriate
Desired Qualifications
- Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor, Pool Plant Operations, or First Aid at Work qualifications
