Job Summary
Conduct firearm transactions in adherence to all state and federal laws and regulations by following company policies and maintaining customer service standards. Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer questions, and assist with product location while completing transfers, pricing, and point of sale operations. Properly and safely handle all firearms, maintain constant radio communication, and perform daily cleaning including vacuuming and floor sweeping. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance, and help in other departments as needed. Must possess explicit knowledge of Gun Store Master and background check processes, with a minimum age of 21.
Required Qualifications
- Explicit knowledge of Gun Store Master and State mandated background check processes
- Complete all transfer (sales) of firearms in accordance with company policy and state laws and regulations
- Properly and safely handle all firearms
- Complete all purchase transactions correctly, specifically as it relates to firearms
- Constant radio communication with all associates
- Comprehensive knowledge of the products Country Supplier (CAL Ranch & Coastal Farm and Ranch) sells
- Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions
- Basic knowledge of proper firearms handling skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with firearm and ammunition handling requirements

- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly
- Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email
- Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices
