Job Summary
The Sport Instructor leads athletes in hands-on coaching for designated sports, delivering the i9 Sports Experience and fostering a positive youth sports culture. Responsibilities include leading practice sessions focused on fundamentals and skill development, teaching core concepts including sportsmanship, communicating game-day information to players and parents, and maintaining a positive attitude with strong customer service. Requires sport-specific coaching knowledge, independent work, and a flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings for a season of about seven weeks. Franchise locations are independently owned and determine local terms.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
