Job Summary
Sport Instructor leads athletes in the designated sport and serves as a Volunteer Coach, responsible for delivering the i9 Sports Experience. Deliver hands-on coaching sessions focusing on fundamentals and skill development, teach core concepts including sportsmanship values, and communicate game day information to players and parents. Maintain a positive attitude and superior customer service while fostering a fun, safe youth sports environment. Must be able to work weekends/evenings for the season and pass a National Criminal Background Check. Opportunities to build coaching skills and be a role model for athletes, with online training opportunities and exposure to youth leagues, camps, and clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
