Job Summary
Sport Coordinator Soccer position focused on enhancing the i9 Sports experience for youth players and coaches. Responsible for building relationships with players, parents, and coaches, delivering instructional aspects of the program, observing and assisting coaches, and hands-on involvement with practices and games across age groups. Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions emphasizing fundamentals, skill development, and fun; teach core concepts including sportsmanship; supervise game-day operations; maintain a positive attitude and strong customer service. Requires excellent communication, sport-specific coaching knowledge, independence, problem solving, safety awareness, adaptability to a varied weekend/evening schedule, and ability to build professional relationships across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
