Job Summary
Sports Coordinator responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches, building relationships with players, parents, and coaches, and supervising game-day operations. Responsibilities include empowering volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focused on fundamentals, skill development, and fun; teaching core concepts including sportsmanship; ensuring safety and high-quality instruction; hands-on involvement with practices and games across all age groups and skill levels; and adapting to a varied schedule including weekends and some evenings for the full season (~7 weeks).
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
