Spooling B-Pressure Welder (Day Shift)

Job Summary
Welding of pipe spools to various codes and specifications in a fast-paced shop. Requires B-Pressure Journeyman Welder certificate and 2+ years in spooling/vessel welding. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings/specifications, welding SMAW/GMAW/MCAW/GTAW processes, layout/fit/weld of piping spools, and maintaining safety. Collaborative with fitters and Quality Control; participate in project reviews with engineering and drafting teams; shift is day shift start early morning. Required Qualifications
- B- Pressure Journeyman Welder certificate
- 2+ years experience in spooling and/or vessel welding
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced shop environment
- Be an active participant in the company’s safety program
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Successful completion of a pre-employment functional
- Successful completion of a Pre-employment drug and alcohol test
