Job Summary
Coordinate Child Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship integration across Area Programs by embedding key performance indicators into DMEAL systems and leading the implementation of global standards. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Global Centre, Regional Office, and Field Offices to ensure compliance, while managing the Sponsorship Information Officer and SIP Coordinator to drive standards at the AP level. Lead strategy development for new Area Programs, analyze Horizon Hope reports to inform operational decisions, and guide staff through technical training on micro projects, ACRP, and risk mitigation. Provide line management for the Sponsorship team, oversee annual budgeting, and ensure all activities align with organizational policies and safeguarding requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social science/ development studies/ Sociology/ International Relation is preferred or bachelor's degree in social sciences/ development studies/international Relation or any relevant field
- Computer and Technology literacy
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong experience in using technology including information management database software and platforms
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in similar or equivalent positions in development sector or sponsorship-focused organization
- Understanding of poverty issues, development theories and sustainable development practices
- Strong analytical skill: think strategically and analytically; provide guidance, solve problems; and make appropriate and timely decisions
- Strong management skills including the ability to plan and budget; manage performance of partners and contractors; monitor, evaluate and communicate results
- Strong people management skills including performance management and talent development, as well as good facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills
- Strong management and facilitation skills in assessment, monitoring, evaluation and reflection processes
- Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity
- Strong collaboration and partnership skills to mobilize engagement and influence
- Excellent written and oral communications skills including presentation and reporting skills in Bahasa and English
- Will be required to travel at least 60% of the time
- Willingness to work outside office hours especially when traveling and working with sponsor/donor visits
- Able to work in a professional office environment and use computer equipment for extended periods
- Capable of conducting field visits, community meetings, training sessions, and monitoring activities for extended periods
- Knowledge of World Vision's Technical programmes and transformational development, organizational policies and standards, including Child Sponsorship standards
- LEAP3 User experience with WV's data management and information platforms
- Horizon Experience on World Vision's Development Programme Approach
- Safeguarding Policy
- Willingness to work outside office hours especially when traveling and working with sponsor/donor visits
