Job Summary
Conduct enterprise observability, operational monitoring, and reporting by developing dashboards, drilldowns, and visualizations while performing log analysis and reliability engineering. Manage data onboarding and network telemetry including Syslog, SNMP, NetFlow, and IPFIX across enterprise environments. Apply strong SPL expertise with stats, timechart, transaction, eval, and rex to troubleshoot Linux/Unix systems and analyze routing, switching, and firewall data. Requires 10+ years of IT experience with 2-3+ years hands-on Splunk work.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT experience
- 2-3+ years hands-on Splunk experience
- Strong SPL expertise — stats, timechart, transaction, eval, rex, lookup
- Experience building dashboards, drilldowns, reports, and visualizations
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix for log analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience with network telemetry — Syslog, SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX
- Understanding of enterprise networking — routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with network observability platforms — ThousandEyes, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics
- Experience supporting NOC or Network Engineering teams
- Knowledge of cloud networking within AWS, Azure, or GCP
