Job Summary
Split Shift Engineer performs preventative and corrective maintenance on the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, services the pool (chemicals and filters), maintains exterior areas, and supports other engineering staff. Requires knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance, ability to troubleshoot and repair routine malfunctions, adherence to safety and security procedures, and strong communication with guests and team members to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures
- English communication skills (read, write, and speak)
- High school diploma or equivalent or combination of education/experience equivalent to graduation from high school preferred
