Job Summary
Construct and maintain the fiber-optic network by troubleshooting issues, determining fault locations, and performing necessary repairs to restore services at customer premises, fiber huts, and field operations. Install, repair, and maintain residential and business telecommunication systems while connecting, testing, and recommending modem placements for wireless internet connections. Coordinate response tasks with subcontractors to complete fiber construction projects and process orders through inter-department core teams. Work Monday through Friday on an 8-hour shift with on-call availability and overtime opportunities. The company offers training for candidates with the aptitude to learn, providing a supportive environment for those interested in utility construction and fiber optic network systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
