Job Summary
Dual position in hospice services combining Spiritual Care Coordinator duties with Volunteer Coordinator responsibilities. Spiritual Care Coordinator duties include spiritual assessment and support, interdisciplinary collaboration, coordinating rituals and ceremonies, bereavement support, and community outreach. Volunteer Coordinator duties include recruiting, training, and managing volunteers who provide support to patients and families, including volunteer placement and supervision, patient and family support services, and documentation/reporting. Travel within the patient care area is required. Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in biblical studies, theology, counseling, psychology, social work or related field, at least one year of experience in spiritual care or related counseling in healthcare/hospice, and a clean driving record with a valid license. Board-certified chaplain and/or CPE units are preferred. Cadre Hospice is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in biblical studies, theology, counseling, psychology, social work or related degree
- Minimum of one-year of experience providing spiritual care, chaplaincy, pastoral care or counseling in a healthcare or hospice setting
- Clean driving record, and valid driver’s license and auto insurance
