Job Summary
Greet guests, manage inventory levels, and maintain pricing integrity to ensure a well-stocked department. Order products, optimize costs, and execute local marketing strategies and sampling events to drive sales. Operate the register, assist with stocking shelves, and train team members on product offerings and compliance regulations. Ensure adherence to all state, local, and federal laws regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages. This role requires a flexible schedule including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of management experience in retail, food and beverage, or a similar industry
- Experience in inventory management, merchandising, and compliance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must obtain and maintain any relevant certifications related to the sale of alcohol within 90 days of hire
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings and holiday work
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself
- Ability to use tools equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Required to spend long periods of time on feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law)
- Required to wear approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or training in alcohol sales and service
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of alcohol
- Experience in a new store opening or launch environment
