Job Summary
Coaching position in the athletic department for Spirit Squad at Cedar Heights Middle School, with responsibilities including coaching all phases of the sport, assisting in administration of contests, availability on practice days, supervision of locker rooms for home and away events (including some Saturdays), and equipment pre/post-season inventories while ensuring strong team discipline and sportsmanship; requires First Aid/CPR, official coaching certification standards, a valid WA driver's license, and FBI/WA State Patrol background clearance; position is winter season 2026-2027 and salary is per negotiated agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification
- Meet coaching certification standards as set forth by the South Kitsap School District and the WIAA
- Valid Washington driver's license and proof of insurance
- Fingerprints prior to beginning coaching experience at the expense of employee (Washington State Patrol and FBI Background Clearance)
