Job Summary
Manage the classroom to maintain a safe, orderly learning environment while delivering lessons to Grade 3 and 4 students using the Spirit of Math methodology. Grading assignments, tests, and exams; drafting report cards three times per year; and maintaining accurate records of grades and attendance. Address issues with student performance and behaviour, build strong relationships with parents, and perform peer evaluations periodically. Manage assistant teachers as needed and attend professional development sessions several times per year.
