Job Summary
UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA is recruiting a spine-focused neurosurgeon to join a high-volume practice (approximately 80% spine, 20% cranial) within a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role offers a balanced schedule, dedicated OR block time, a strong multidisciplinary team, integrated Epic EMR, effective patient volume and continuity, and an enhanced compensation package including a $50K sign-on, relocation assistance, CME support, PSLF eligibility, and employer-paid malpractice insurance. Immigration options include J1 Waiver and H-1B candidates. The position supports professional growth within a large nonprofit health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program completion
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
