Job Summary
UPMC Hamot is recruiting a spine-focused neurosurgeon for a full-time position with ~80% spine and ~20% cranial case mix at a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role features a high-volume practice with dedicated OR block time, collaborative multidisciplinary team, and full system support (including Epic EMR, APPs, and conferencing/teaching). Qualifications include an MD/DO, completed neurosurgery residency, ABNS certification/eligibility, PA medical license, and DEA. The package includes a $50K sign-on, relocation assistance, CME stipend, PSLF eligibility, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates may require J-1 Waiver or H-1B visa consideration. Erie, PA-based opportunity with regional demand and strong clinical volume, within the UPMC health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program completion
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
