Job Summary
UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA is recruiting a spine-focused neurosurgeon for a high-volume, balanced practice (~80% spine / 20% cranial) in a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role offers a robust clinical volume, collaborative multidisciplinary team, dedicated OR block time, and opportunities for teaching and quality initiatives. The candidate should have an MD/DO, completed Neurosurgery residency (fellowship in spine is a plus), Board eligibility/certification by the ABNS, and must be able to obtain PA medical licensure and required credentials. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program completion
- Fellowship training is not required; however Accredited Spine Neurosurgery Fellowship completion is a plus
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
