UPMC Hamot seeks a spine-focused neurosurgeon for a full-time position at a Level II Trauma Center in Erie, PA. The role entails an 80-90% spine and 10-20% cranial case mix, with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including six neurosurgeons, neurohospitalists, neurologists, neuroradiology, neurointerventional neurology, and APP support. The candidate will practice in a high-volume setting with dedicated OR block time, utilize Epic EMR, and participate in quality initiatives and teaching. Qualifications include an MD/DO, completed accredited neurosurgery residency (fellowship in spine is a plus but not required), board eligibility/certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, ability to obtain PA medical license and credentials, and DEA certification.
