Job Summary
Spine Neurosurgery position at Penn State Hershey Medical Center offering an academic, full-time role focused on spinal oncology with opportunities to educate medical students, residents, and fellows, and to pursue cutting-edge research. Responsibilities include patient care in spinal surgery across subspecialties, collaboration with medical oncology and radiation oncology, and participation in a Division that supports education, research, and clinical excellence. Fellowship-trained in spinal surgery with emphasis on oncological disorders of the spine is preferred; candidate should be able to obtain PA medical licensure and opioids certificates. Compensation includes base salary with potential academic and productivity bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and retirement options.
Required Qualifications
- MD, MD/PhD, DO or equivalent degree
- BC/BE Neurosurgery
- Fellowship level experience in spinal surgery with an emphasis on spinal oncology
- Ability to acquire a license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
- Must be able to obtain valid federal and state opioids certificates
- Track record of clinical excellence
