SPH/ED/RN-Approved Backfill 7p-7a

Evaluate, treat, and stabilize patients presenting to the 42-bed Emergency Department, ranging from minor injuries to critical cardiac and neurologic cases. Perform frequent procedures including wound care, cardiac monitoring, intubation, and lumbar punctures while adhering to a five-tiered triage system. Collaborate with medical imaging, laboratory services, and EMS personnel to ensure continuity of care from pre-hospital settings. Maintain a minimum of two registered nurses on shift to support traditional volume fluctuations and ensure appropriate safety measures.
