Job Summary
Stacker is responsible for efficiently stacking packed boxes onto pallets (skids) for shipment, ensuring pallets are built safely and labeled correctly for carriers, verifying box counts against orders, assisting with loading/unloading, and maintaining required paperwork. The role requires basic math, good communication, attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adherence to safety policies, and use of PPE. This is a 2nd shift position (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM or similar) with Monday–Friday schedule and potential training at other times. Salary ranges from $18 to $20 hourly, commensurate with experience, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), holidays, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- 1-3 months related experience in manufacturing or warehouse/shipping
- basic math and English literacy
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- good attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
