Job Summary
Office Coordinator for a speech therapy practice, handling front desk operations, scheduling, patient intake, and billing workflows via Clinic Source. Responsibilities include greeting families, coordinating teletherapy, patient intake, chart creation, reminders, invoicing, and billing workflows; verify insurance benefits and authorizations, assist with referrals and CPT/ICD-10 coding when appropriate; process payments and daily financial reconciliation; maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records; support collaboration with SLPs and therapy assistants on treatment materials and room setup; run Clinic Source reports, monitor denials/resubmissions, troubleshoot basic Clinic Source issues with IT/vendor support, and assist with practice marketing, patient communications, and onboarding of new clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on Clinic Source experience in a clinical setting (speech therapy or rehab)
- Familiarity with insurance verification, claims processing, CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills; strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software tools
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities; teamwork-focused
Desired Qualifications
