Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary. Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrating patient victories along the way. This role is a Speech Pathologist for a PRN position within Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation network, offering benefits such as tuition reimbursement, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and opportunities for professional growth. Qualifications include current state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master's degree preferred (or Bachelor's with field experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire or obtain within 30 days
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
