Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary; track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; celebrate patient victories while working as a Speech Pathologist with Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader. Role involves providing essential therapy and unwavering support to patients, leveraging cutting-edge technology within a supportive environment. Requires current licensure or certification, CCC-SLP, CPR (or within 30 days of hire), and typically a master's degree (or bachelor's with field experience); position is PRN (per diem) in the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
