Job Summary
Provide comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing therapy to residents in a skilled nursing facility; evaluate and treat speech and language disorders, assess swallowing safety, plan patient-centered therapy, document progress, and coordinate with families, staff, and physicians. Requires Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, current state licensure, and the ability to deliver both direct and planned therapy with emphasis on communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions; familiarity with guidelines and regulations applicable to long-term care environments.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state licensure in the state practicing
- Experience in long term care or skilled nursing, preferred
