Job Summary
As a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll provide home-based speech therapy for patients with communication, swallowing, or cognitive challenges due to illness or injury. This role involves assessing patients, documenting progress, and ensuring therapy goals are met while working closely with a home health team. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active SLP license in Florida are required, along with CPR certification and at least 1 year of speech therapy experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of speech therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
