Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patient care needs for speech and language disorders, swallowing, and cognitive impairments to determine treatment plans. Perform interventions to improve patient well-being and communicate effectively using acceptable standards of practice. Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to supervising nurses or physicians. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy participation. Provide services within state laws and coordinate with the health care team. Requires Alabama Speech Therapy licensure, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. Salary ranges from $71,200 to $127,200 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of Alabama
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license

- Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
