Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication programs for patients, addressing disorders that affect swallowing and speech. Collaborate with peers to make referrals and ensure effective delivery of rehabilitation services. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity while adapting to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, assisted living, and home-based settings. Report to meetings and manage equipment maintenance as part of daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association", "Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
