Job Summary
Design and execute individualized speech and communication plans to remediate disorders affecting swallowing, speech, and communication. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence while collaborating with peers to make necessary referrals. Adapt to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings, balancing clinical delivery with equipment maintenance and administrative reporting.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
