Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patient care needs for speech and language disorders, swallowing, and cognitive impairments to develop treatment plans. Perform interventions to improve patient well-being while treating individuals to communicate effectively using acceptable standards of practice. Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to supervising nurses or physicians. Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in areas where they can participate in therapy. Maintain licensure in the state of residence, hold current CPR certification, and possess a dependable vehicle or public transportation access.
Required Qualifications
