Job Summary
Conduct direct speech therapy services for children and adolescents, including assessments, treatment plan development, and progress evaluations. Assess home and school environments to determine necessary adjustments, then educate caregivers on patient care protocols. Maintain professional knowledge of treatment practices while providing feedback to families and team members. Manage caseloads with flexibility and problem-solving skills to support client goals.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation
- Completion of a clinical practicum
- Completion of a 36 week clinical experience with a mentor
- Passage of a national exam approved by the Boars
- Passage of a Montana jurisprudence exam
- ASHA Cert
- Compliance with state healthcare regulatory requirements
- Up to date knowledge of treatment practices and speech therapy programs
