Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients across speech, language, hearing, and dysphagia disorders; oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet physical, psychosocial, cognitive and environmental well-being; coordinates with multiple disciplines, works toward discharge goals, and advocates for patient self-determination. Roles may include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care and home health settings. Requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC (or eligibility); clinical fellowship eligible. Settings emphasize growth and development across the lifespan, with emphasis on detailed knowledge of speech-language pathology and regulatory considerations. Compensation and benefits include tuition/certification reimbursement, loan forgiveness, malpractice liability insurance, and EPIC electronic charting; position may involve varied shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
