Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients across a broad range of speech, language, hearing, cognition, and dysphagia disorders; oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental well-being; promotes patient and caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence; coordinates with multiple disciplines involved in patient care and works toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care; serves as a patient advocate; settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, and home health care; requires deep knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and data interpretation; familiarity with EPIC charting; knowledge of regulations governing the setting; Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology and CCC or CF eligibility are required.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence OR eligibility for CCC
- 1-3 years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
