Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, and dysphagia disorders. Develops and oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental well-being; promotes patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resources; coordinates with multiple disciplines; supports discharge planning; serves as patient advocate; settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long term care, community-based care, and home health care; requires detailed knowledge of speech-language pathology and interpretation of data; ensures adherence to applicable regulations; utilizes EPIC charting system; may involve lead responsibilities and varied shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligible
- 1-3 years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
