Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing and dysphasia disorders. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span; oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program to meet physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and environmental well-being; promotes patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization for independence; coordinates with interdisciplinary teams and discharge goals; acts as a patient advocate. Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long term care, community-based care, and home health care. Requires detailed knowledge of speech and language pathology, ability to interpret data, and understanding of relevant regulations. Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology and CCC eligibility; 1–3 years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible. EPIC charting system and a range of employee benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology and have or qualify to obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
