Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing and dysphasia disorders. Oversees a comprehensive rehabilitation program to meet patients' physical, psychosocial, cognitive and environmental well-being; promotes self-determination by leveraging outside resources; coordinates with multiple disciplines; pursues discharge goals; advocates for patients; settings include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, and home health; requires deep knowledge of speech-language pathology, interpretation of data, and awareness of applicable rules and regulations; position described as PRN with varied days/hours and on-site hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology and have or qualify to obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
