Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients with a broad range of speech, language, hearing, cognition, and dysphagia/interventions to support rehabilitation. Oversees and implements a comprehensive rehabilitation program addressing physical, psychosocial, cognitive and environmental well-being; promotes self-determination by leveraging external resources; coordinates care with multiple disciplines; guides discharge planning; advocates for patients; settings include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based and home health; requires in-depth knowledge of speech-language pathology, clinical data interpretation, and adherence to setting rules.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
