Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing and dysphasia disorders. Coordinates and communicates with multiple disciplines to design and implement an integrated rehabilitation program, supports discharge goals, promotes patient/caregiver self-determination, and advocates for the patient while working across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, and home health settings. Requires mastery of speech and language pathology principles, data interpretation, and familiarity with EPIC charting; involves varied days and hours with a PRN role.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility
- One to three years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
