Job Summary
Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, and dysphasia disorders; oversees and insures a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, cognitive and immediate environmental well-being of the patient; coordinates and communicates with various disciplines involved in patient care; promotes patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence; settings may include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care and home health care; requires detailed knowledge of speech and language pathology and interpretation of data; includes eligibility for Masters-level SLP, CCC-E, and licensure as applicable; EPIC electronic charting system; night/weekend shifts and various lead roles may be available.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility
- 1-3 years experience or Clinical Fellowship eligible
